SFA Bowling heads to Illinois for the Flyers Classic

Lockport, IL - The ninth-ranked Ladyjacks bowling team head to Illinois this weekend, competing at the Flyer Classic. The three-day event is being hosted by Lewis University at Strike N Spare II.
The 20-team Classic begins Friday, February 7, at 10:35 a.m. (CT) with five sets of five-game baker matches. The Classic will follow the standard 13-match rotation. Five Baker matches with total pinfall will determine the winners of each head-to-head match. Five traditional matches will follow on Saturday, January 18 starting at 9:25 a.m with pinfall again determining the winners. The total pins from the first 10 matches of the tournament will determine seeding for bracket play on Sunday beginning at 8:10 am (CT).

The SFA women's bowling team finished up a great weekend of bowling, finishing fifth at the competitive Northeast Classic. Juliana Kerrigan was stellar, making the all-tournament team with a 266.80 average.

With the Ladyjacks win over Wichita State, Head Bowling Coach Amber Lemke has 985 career wins at SFA.
