SFA Football to Host FCS Playoff Selection Show Watch Party in Twilight Ballroom

NACOGDOCHES, Texas – SFA Football has capped off a historic regular season and will be part of the 24-team FCS Playoff field. To see where the Lumberjacks land in the bracket, SFA will host an FCS Playoff Selection Show Watch Party in the SFA Student Center Twilight Ballroom (2nd Floor, 222 Vista Dr., Nacogdoches, TX 75965) on Sunday, Nov. 23.
The FCS Playoff Selection Show is set for Sunday, Nov. 23, at 11 a.m. CT. During the show, the Division I Football Championship Committee will announce the playoff bracket, featuring 24 teams, including 10 conference automatic qualifiers and 14 at-large selections.
SFA invites all fans to be part of the next chapter of this memorable Lumberjack Football season and to join the team as they find out when and where they'll open FCS Playoff action. This free event is open to all SFA students, faculty, staff, alumni and fans in the SFA Student Center Twilight Ballroom. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m., with the show beginning at 11 a.m.
The FCS Playoffs begin Nov. 29 with the first round. The top eight teams in the 24-team bracket are seeded and receive first-round byes. The second round between 16 teams will be held on Dec. 6, the quarterfinals on Dec. 12–13, the semifinals on Dec. 20, and the national championship game in Nashville on Jan. 5.
