SFA Concludes Action at the Big O Classic

Avree Fields leads the 'Jacks, tying for 24th in individual play.

OMAHA, Neb. – The Stephen F. Austin Women's Golf concluded their rounds at the Big O Classic on Tuesday, October 14.

DAY ONE
The 'Jacks capped off day one with rounds one and two, playing 36 holes. In the first round, SFA collected 11 birdies, with 65 pars, highlighted by a four-par run by Avree Fields, going +10, and Marley Dickens with her four-par run. SFA shot for a combined 674 in two rounds, going 98 over par.

SFA concluded the Big O Classic, going +153, and finished in the top eight out of nine teams. SFA finished in third for Par 5s, going +23, with Avree Fields tying for 24th to lead the 'Jacks.

UP NEXT
SFA Golf will head to Little Rock, Arkansas, to tee off at the UALR Diamante Intercollegiate on Sunday, October 19.
