LUBBOCK, Texas - The SFA track and field team travel to Lubbock to participate in the Corky Classic, hosted by Texas Tech.
The classic is a two-day event, starting on Friday with the women's weight throw and wrapping up with the men's 4x400 relay on Saturday.
Head Coach Robert Hansen and his staff are excited to see their athletes compete against some high-level competition. "Making the trip to Texas Tech each year is a multitude of different things," said Coach Hansen. "We see amazing competition, which makes us battle-hardened. Exposure to the best pushes us to be at our best. This meet is also a great opportunity to build some camaraderie. I'm excited to see how our entire program responds and competes across the state in Lubbock."
