Lumberjacks Men’s Golf Team Announces 2024-25 Schedule

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin men's golf team announced today their 2024-25 tournament schedule.
The Lumberjacks open their season with the first of two trips to Pawley's Island, South Carolina at the Golfweek Fall Challenge from September 8th-10th at the True Blue Golf Club.
The team then travels to Manhattan, Kansas, September 16th-17th, to play in the Wildcat Invitational at Colbert Hills Golf Club. The tournament is being hosted by Kansas State University.
The Jacks then begin their October slate with a trip to Killen, Alabama, October 14th-15th to compete in the MartinFed Invitational at Turtle Point Yacht & Country Club.
They will then travel to Matthews, Louisiana to defend their title in the La Tour Intercollegiate October 21st-22nd at the La Tour Golf Course. The men won the tournament last year finishing -13 under par as a team with a total of 851 strokes through three rounds of play.
The Lumberjacks then wrap up October traveling to Sugar Land, Texas for the HCU Husky Invitational, October 28th-29th, at the Riverbend Country Club.
The men will open their spring schedule in Montgomery, Texas, February 10th-11th, to play in the Bentwater Intercollegiate, at the Bentwater Country Club. The event will be hosted by Rice and Sam Houston State University.
Next the men travel to New Orleans, Louisiana, February 24th-25th, to play in the Gulf Coast Collegiate hosted at the English Turn Golf Club.
The Lumberjacks then make a trip down to McAllen, Texas, March 10th-11th, for the South Texas Match Play event at McAllen Country Club.
The Lumberjacks make a trip to Mobile, Alabama to play in the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate, March 23rd-25th at the Magnolia Grove Golf Course.
The men then wrap up their spring schedule with their second trip to Pawleys Island, South Carolina to compete in the Golfweek/Any Given Tuesday Intercollegiate March 31st-April 2nd, at the True Blue Golf Course.
The Southland Conference Championship will be held April 26th-28th, at Comanche Trace Golf Course in Kerrville, Texas.
