Two Lumberjacks Named to Preseason SLC All-Conference Team

Dallas, Texas- The Southland Conference (SLC) announced today the preseason All-Conference teams and the preseason football poll.
The Lumberjacks two players named to the preseason All-Conference Southland team were junior wide receiver Kylon Harris and senior cornerback Jeremiah Walker. Harris was voted to the second team All-Conference offensive team and Walker was named second team All-Conference defensive back.
Harris appeared in all 11 games last season and led all Lumberjacks receivers with 61 receptions, 694 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. Walker in 11 games totaled 30 solo tackles, and 58 total tackles while also recording three pass breakups.
The Lumberjacks were picked to finish fifth overall in the preseason Southland Conference Coach's Poll. The Lumberjacks competed in the United Athletic Conference (UAC) last season.
