Head Cheer Coach offered this quote on the conclusion of the season.
"Only getting one chance at a title a year is a huge sense of pressure but I think that's what makes the entire journey worth it! The fact that as much as we are striving to be a champion in athletics we are also striving to be a champion in every other area we are involved in. Practices, weight room, film sessions, academics, family members, people of the community and so forth. I am extremely proud of what these teams were not just able to do on the big stage but what they consistently do year round as they practice at the highest level possible, support our other athletic teams at a high level, take care of their grades, get involved in the community, and just present themselves as overall good people. Every year SFA Cheer continues to push the envelope of what it means to have a champion mindset if we win we are motivated by the outcome desiring to stay on the mountain top. If we don't finish in that top spot we are motivated to find out where we can get stronger to accomplish all of our goals. Either way the standard will always be the standard and that is to be a champion in every area!"
