Lumberjacks Men’s Golf Finishes 6th at North Texas Intercollegiate

CARROLLTON, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin Men's Golf team wrapped up their regular season play today at the North Texas Intercollegiate finishing sixth.

Cameron Hubbard was the top finisher for the Lumberjacks in 17th place at +12 over par and totaled 228 strokes in the tournament. Eyan Edsall tied for 33rd at +19 over par and totaled 235 strokes. Trey Rouse finished 35th overall at +20 over par and with 236 strokes. Jake Smelser followed in 36th place at +21 over par and totaled 237 strokes. Jaxon Griffith rounded out the team scores finishing tied for 37th at +23 over par and 239 total strokes.

Matthew Hewitt competed for the Lumberjacks as an individual and finished tied for 18th place at +13 over par and 229 total strokes.

The Lumberjacks will be back in action for the WAC championship in Payson, Arizona, April 26th-28th. This will be the final tournament of the year for the men.
