
SFA Caps off Regular Season with Senior Night

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- Stephen F. Austin will look to cap off their season with a win at William R. Johnson Coliseum. SFA punched their ticket to the WAC Vegas tournament with a 87-60 win over Southern Utah. After winning on Thursday, SFA will look to string up their second straight, with a victory over the Utah Tech Trailblazers. Tip-off is set for 2:00 p.m. CT.
History of the Series:
SFA is currently 2-2 versus UTU in the history of the series. All four matchups between the Lumberjacks and Trailblazers have come since SFA joined the Western Athletic Conference back in 2021. The 'Jacks will look to improve on a 1-0 record at William R. Johnson Coliseum against the Trailblazers.
In the 75-70 loss to the Trailblazers earlier this season, Sadaidriene Hall finished as the Lumberjack's leading scorer with his 18-point performance, on 8-for-11 (72.7%) shooting from the field. Frank Staine (13) and AJ Cajuste (16) also posted double-digit performances for SFA.

Latrell Jossell is the Lumberjack's leading scorer with his 12.2 points per game. Jossell is shooting 40.1% from the field and 36.6% from the three-point line. He is coming off an 18-point game against Grand Canyon. He is ranked first in the conference (48th NCAA) with his 87.4% free throw percentage. He also recently hit the 100-steal and 900-point mark.
