Ladyjack Bowling Competes in CUSA Championships

Harahan, LA - SFA competed in the inaugural CUSA Championships. With one of the best fields in the entire nation, all nine teams we're ranked in the top 25 in both the national RPI and the NTCA Coaches Poll.
SFA's first match-up was against #2 Arkansas State. Ladyjacks would fall in the Team Game 1,041-1,079. Juliana Kerrigan led SFA with a pin total of 233. With their backs against the wall, they came back in the Baker Format two tying things with a 4th and 5th game push, winning 1,047-1,029. In the best-of-seven match, SFA would fall 4-1 and head to the contender's bracket.
Ladyjacks headed into their second match of the day against #6 Sam Houston. The Bearkats took the Team Game 1,030-928. Megan George lead SFA with a pin total of 217. Ladyjacks would fall short in the Baker Format by only six pins, losing 972-966.
