
Lumberjacks Wrap up Road Trip Against WAC Leading Lopes

PHOENIX, Arizona- The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks will finish out their four-game road trip as they travel to Global Credit Union Arena to face the Grand Canyon Lopes. SFA currently sits at 15-13 overall and 8-9 in Western Athletic Conference play. The Lopes sit at 25-4 overall and lead the WAC with a 15-3 record.
The Lumberjack's game against Grand Canyon University, on Saturday, will be a nationally broadcast game on ESPNU. Tip-off between the Lumberjacks and Lopes is set for 9:00 p.m. CT., in Phoenix, Arizona.
History of the Series:
The Grand Canyon Lopes are 25-4 overall and have the best conference in the Western Athletic Conference as they sit at 15-3. The Lopes have won three of their last five and took back-to-back losses to Abilene Christian and Tarleton.
Stephen F. Austin will look to split the regular season series after Grand Canyon University defeated the 'Jacks 53-51 earlier this season. The Lumberjacks are 2-2 in the history of the series.
