SAN DIEGO, Calif.- The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks (8-2, 1-1) head to the Golden State to compete in the San Diego Classic where they open the classic against the host San Diego State University Aztecs (10-1, 0-0).
Ladyjacks at a Glance:
The Ladyjacks got back in the win column on Saturday against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi as they recorded their first conference win of the season with a 66-59 win over the Islanders. After trailing 13-11 after the first quarter, the Ladyjacks outscored the Islanders in the second and third quarters by a 37-26 margin including an 11-0 scoring run in the third quarter to help seal the win for the 'Jacks. Three different Ladyjacks scored in double-digits in the win, while continuing to play a suffocating defensive game as they totaled 11 steals and five blocks to record their ninth game of the season with double-digit steals.
Aztecs at a Glance:
The SDSU Aztecs return home following a mid-week road matchup against Cal State Fullerton where the Aztecs posted a 61-58 win over Cal State to record their 10th win of the season. The Aztecs now get set to host the San Diego Classic and will carry a perfect 4-0 home record into the classic and have won 10 of their first 11 games to open the season, with their lone loss coming by a single point to Providence in a 55-54 loss, with their most impressive win of the season so far coming by way of a 73-67 win over Wisconsin in the Cancun Challenge.

SAN DIEGO, Calif.- The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks (8-2, 1-1) close out the San Diego Classic on Saturday afternoon as they lock horns with the Rams of Colorado State University (8-3, 0-0).
Rams at a Glance:
The CSU Rams come into the San Diego Classic on a two-game winning streak following a two-game homestand that saw the Rams knock off Gonzaga in a 74-72 overtime thriller, before finishing the homestand with a 70-52 win over the UTEP Miners. In addition to their overtime win over Gonzaga, the Rams have also posted an impressive 65-59 win over the Oregon State Beavers at home, where the Rams have accumulated a 7-1 home record this season. The Rams will open the Classic by squaring off with SEC opponent Georgia on Friday afternoon.

Avery VanSickle and Faith Blackstone have formidable pair on offense for SFA as both Ladyjacks have averaged over 14.5 points/game this season for SFA. VanSickle continues to be lethal from beyond the arc as she has knocked down a team-leading 28 triples, while Blackstone continues to dice up defenses as she has made 50 field goals this year. Ashlyn Traylor-Walker has played superb complimentary basketball as she leads the team in both assists with 38 and steals with 27. Meanwhile, Trinity Moore rounds out the Ladyjacks offense as she is the fourth Ladyjack to average over double-digit points/game with her 10.6 points/game average.
Adryana Queazada leads the Aztecs offense with her 11.7 points/game average. Naomi Panganiban and Nat Martinez have formed a dynamic shooting duo from downtown for San Diego State as the two have combined for 25 three-pointers on the year, while Cali Clark has been a rebounding machine for the Aztecs as she has pulled down a team-leading 99 boards.
Emma Ronsiek is the MVP of the Rams offense as she averages a healthy 16.8 points/game.
