EUGENE, Ore.- The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks (5-6, 0-2) concluded a four-game road trip tonight falling to the 12^th ranked Oregon Ducks (10-1, 1-1) by a final score of 79-61 in Eugene, Oregon.

The Ducks would strike first with a three-pointer after neither team was able to put any points on the board until the 17:40 mark in the first half. Oregon would score another three points to take a 6-0 lead before Matt Hayman broke the ice for the 'Jacks with a jumper at the 16:26 mark in the first half.

The Ducks would continue to add on to their lead as the 'Jacks struggled offensively and with 14:45 to go in the first half, Oregon would hold a 10-4 lead. Oregon would continue to pull away from the 'Jacks in the half taking a 24-8 lead with 9:39 to go in the first half.

The Lumberjacks would not go away quietly as they closed the gap, but the Ducks took a 37-23 lead into the half.

The two teams would come out and trade blows scoring back and forth for the first three minutes of the second half and with 17:10 to go in the second half, Oregon held a 44-27 lead.

SFA would not go away quietly in the second half as both teams continued to score but the Oregon offense proved to be too much, and the Ducks came away with the 79-61 win.

Matt Hayman led the 'Jacks offense with 17 points followed by Keon Thompson with 11 points. Chrishawn Christmas led the team with seven rebounds and Matt Hayman led the team with four steals. The Lumberjacks outrebounded the Ducks 36 to 34.
