
Ladyjacks Finish 7th in the 2024 Northeast Classic

NEWCASTLE, Del.- The Ladyjacks rolled through a three-day, weekend tournament in the 2024 Northeast Classic hosted by Sacred Heart. The 34-team competition finished with the Ladyjacks bringing home eight wins and two losses in their qualifying rounds and capturing a win over #2 Vanderbilt to claim 7th place overall.
The Ladyjacks fought through a slow start on day one with an impressive 1,119 tradition match total against Chestnut Hill College, and is the 2nd highest tradition match total the Ladyjacks have seen so far this season.
The Northeast Classic brought in 236 individual players in which Brystal Beyer was able to end the weekend at 11th overall in the individual standings hitting a total of 1,097 pins.
On the first day of the tournament, the Ladyjacks closed off the night with a 4-1 record in their bakers matches, and knocking down a total of 5,954 pins. Day Two the Ladyjacks once again found themselves with another 4-1 record with a total of 5,169 knocked down pins. To bring the weekend to a close, SFA dropped their first round game against Vanderbilt, but found a win over #10 Maryville in seven games to once again see Vanderbilt for their last match. The Ladyjacks rose to the occasion by defeating #2 Vanderbilt 4-1.
