NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Men's Lumberjack Golf schedule for the 2023-24 season has been set and features three Fall and eight Spring tournaments.
The men will open their 2023-24 campaign this weekend, September 10-12, at the Golfweek Fall Challenge in Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
"I am very excited for the men's schedule this season," said men's Head Coach Trey Schroeder. "We are excited to kick off the season at the Golfweek Fall Challenge this weekend in South Carolina. We have nine returners this season and look for them to be leaders as well as some fresh faces in the transfers we brought to SFA."
The Lumberjacks will then hit the road to tee off against New Mexico State University at the NMSU Herb Wimberly October 16-17 in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
The Lumberjacks will then travel over to Matthews, Louisiana in their final event of the Fall to face off against Nicholls State University, October 23-24, at the La Tour Intercollegiate.
To open the Spring season, the Lumberjacks will travel to Montgomery, Texas February 12-13 to play in the Bentwater Intercollegiate to face off against Rice and Sam Houston State University.
The Lumberjacks will be on the road again in New Orleans, Louisiana February 26-27 to play in the Gulf Coast Collegiate against the University of New Orleans.
The team returns to Spring, Texas on March 4-5 for the HBU Colin Montgomery Intercollegiate against Houston Baptist.
The Lumberjacks then travel to Kerrville, Texas March 25-26 to compete in the UTRGV the Big Texan against the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
The following weekend, April 8-9, the Lumberjacks travel to Kinder, Louisiana to play in the Koasati Pines Intercollegiate against Nicholls State University.
The Lumberjacks travel to Carrollton, Texas for their last regular season tournament, April 15-16, to face the University of North Texas in the North Texas Intercollegiate.
The Western Athletic Conference Championship (WAC) will run from April 26-28 in Payson, Arizona to finish out their 2023-24 campaign.
