Seven Ladyjacks Earn NTCA All-Academic Honors

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Stephen F. Austin bowling program had seven student-athletes earn a spot on the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) 2022-23 All-Academic Team.
The NTCA recognizes student-athletes who have excelled in the classroom throughout the academic year. This year there are 285 honorees, representing NCAA bowling programs at 57 schools. A student athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher for the academic school year to qualify for this award.

SFA was also recognized as a team, receiving NTCA All-Academic Team honors. The Ladyjacks had the 23rd highest team GPA in the nation with a 3.375 out of the 42 teams that were named. In order to receive this honor, programs must have a cumulative team GPA of a 3.2 or higher for the academic school year and be a current member of the NTCA.
