Lumberjacks Football 2024 Early Signing Period Class

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks football team announced today the signing of 24 players joining the Lumberjacks in 2024. These new signees look to be major contributors for the 'Jacks heading into the 2024 season.
Cameron Kelley: 6'6, 190, WR
Cameron is a wide receiver from Tyler, Texas and currently attends Chapel Hill High School. Cameron was an honorable mention All-District player and played in the State Championship game during his time at Chapel Hill.
"Cameron is a big wide receiver with tremendous length. He is someone that can stretch the field vertically and become a matchup problem in the red-zone." – Wide Receivers Coach Jonathan Wilson
Cannon Lemberg: 5'11, 185, WR
Cannon is a wide receiver from Gunter, Texas and currently attends Gunter High School. Lemberg has racked up numerous accolades during his time at Gunter High School. In 2023 he was named District 8 AAA Division 2 Player of the Year. He also helped lead Gunter to win the 3A Division 2 State Championship for the second year in a row and was named to the THSCA Academic All-State Team. In 2022 he was named First Team All-State Wide Receiver and First Team All-State Defensive Back while winning the 3A Division 2 State Championship. He was also named to the First Team All-District and Academic All-District teams in District 8 AAA Division 2.
Cannon is the son of Lance and Candra Lemberg and the brother to Leighton Lemberg.

Clayton is a wide receiver from Southlake, Texas and currently attends Southlake Carroll High School. He was named 4-6A All-District Wide Receiver twice during his time with the Dragons.
Clayton is the son of Steven and Liz Wayland and is the brother to Steven and Ava.

Daniel Anenih: 6'2, 230, Joker
Daniel is an outside linebacker from Mansfield, Texas and comes to SFA from Cisco College. During his time at Cisco, he received 1st Team All-Conference honors.
Daniel is the son to Margaret and Chris Anenih and is the brother to David.

Darren is an offensive lineman from West Linn, Oregon and comes to SFA from Saddlebeck College. During his time at Saddlebeck he was a team captain and was named the Saddlebeck College Offensive Lineman of the Year. He was also a Unanimous 1st Team All-Conference Selection.
Darren is the son of Greg and Christie Wiancko and the brother to Garrett and Shannon.

Donovan is a corner back from San Antonio, Texas and currently attends San Antonio Wagner High School. Donovan was named to the 1st Team All-District and Academic All-District lists for the 2023 season.
Donovan is the son of Terrance and Chrishonna Lang and the bother to Dominique and Darian.

Favour is an outside linebacker from Bronx, New York and currently attends Conroe Oak Ridge High School. During his time at Conroe Oak Ridge, he was an All-District and Academic All-State award honoree as well as a team captain.
Favour is the son of Victor and Lara Awodoyin and is the brother to Wisdom and Blessing Awodoyin.

Jacob is a safety from Aledo, Texas and is currently attending Aledo High School. During his time at Aledo, he has helped the Bearcats win two state championships and was named MVP in one of the wins. He was voted 1st team All-State and has been named 1st Team All-District twice. Jacob also received 2022 Newcomer of the Year honors.
Jacob is the son to Joseph and Jodi Gillespie and is the brother to Josh and Chelsea.

Jake is the son of Jeremy and Shannon Henry and the brother to Alex.

Kameron is a defensive back from Houston, Texas and currently attends Hightower High School. During his time at Hightower High School, he was named 1st Team All-District and has accumulated 74 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, two interceptions and one forced fumble.

Lowote is an outside linebacker from Pflugerville, Texas and is currently attending Pflugerville Weiss High School. During his time at Weiss Lowote has earned 1st Team All-District, Academic All-District, and outstanding defensive lineman honors.
Lowote is the son of Lado Jurkin and Lilian Loro and is the brother to Loro Jurkin.

Nicholas is a defensive lineman from Lucas, Texas and is currently attending Lovejoy High School. During the 2023 season Nicholas received 1st Team All-District honors. In 2022 he received 1st Team All-District and 2nd Team All-State honors. 2021 saw Nicholas receive honorable mention honors as a defensive tackle.

Trashawn is a defensive back from Jasper, Texas and is coming to SFA from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor. He has received 3rd Team All-Conference and All-Conference Academic honors.
Trashawn is the son to Timothy Adams and Shante Ashworth and is the brother to Trent.

Tre is a defensive lineman from Denton, Texas and is currently attending Denton Ryan High School. During his time at Denton Ryan, he has received 2nd Team All-District honors and is a two-time 1st Team All-District honoree. Tre also won a state championship his freshman year at Denton Ryan.
He is the son of Latownsend Cassell and is the brother to Aver, Gatlin, Maryanne, Michael, Braylen, and Mathias.
