Ladyjacks Extend Streak with 81-54 Win at DSU

St. George, Utah - For the second straight game, SFA cruised to a comfortable WAC win with an 81-54 thrashing of Dixie State in the Burns Arena Saturday.
Aiyana Johnson led SF with a double-double scoring 25 points and grabbing 13 rebounds in the win. Stephanie Visscher followed with 16 points, while Angel Scott chipped in 11 points. BriAnna Mitchell added six points, six rebounds and six assists.
The Ladyjacks jumped out to a 23-15 lead then added 20 points in the following three quarters taking 67-38 lead heading into the fourth and eventually cruising to the 81-54.
The Ladyjacks dominated the paint with 36 points in the paint and forced Dixie State into 29 turnovers resulting in 29 points off turnovers.
SFA returns to action on Thursday, February 10 with Chicago State in the William R. Johnson Coliseum.
