ARLINGTON, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin men's basketball program look to continue their hot streak and will play their last game of 2022 for a New Year's Eve special against UT-Arlington.
Lumberjacks Statistical Analysis
The Lumberjacks remain one of the hottest in the country when it comes to turnovers per game, now standing with 20.14. That number is good enough to put them first in the WAC conference and fifth in the nation. AJ Cajuste leads the 'Jacks with 25 steals so far this season, which puts him second best of number of steals in the conference.
Sadaidriene Hall's back-to-back double-doubles have now put him in the conversation as one of the best in the country in terms of field goal percentage. He now sits at 62.3% from the field which puts him at first in the conference and 22nd overall in the nation. Hall is also seven rebounds away from hitting the century mark on total number of rebounds on the season.
Nana Antwi-Boasiako is quietly having a very dominant season from inside the paint. Along with leading the team with 14 blocks on the defensive side, Nana has made 42 buckets on 66 attempts from the field (63.6%). He's also got the second most total rebounds on the team with 82.

Star player, 6'9 Sophomore Shemar Wilson heavily contributes to the Mavericks rebound game with 111 total rebounds, averaging 7.9 rebounds per game. Sophomore Sadaidriene Hall is catching fire at the right time for the Lumberjacks as he recorded his second straight double-double, 18 points and 11 rebounds, leading the 'Jacks to the victory on the Wildcats. The Lumberjacks played a strong defensive first half, only allowing 27 points and forcing nine turnovers, seven of those turnovers being steals. What seemed to be a very comfortable 12 point lead at halftime quickly went away as the Wildcats came out of the half with a nine-point run to make it a close ballgame once again. However, the Lumberjacks were able to answer back and keep the Wildcats from taking the lead away from them for the rest of the game. The next time the 'Jacks and Wildcats face off will be in Abilene on February 22nd.
