Jemma Cave and Elena Bleicher Win Singles Draws

BEAUMONT, Texas- The Ladyjacks finished up at the Joe Pyburn Tournament today, finishing seventh in singles and fifth in doubles.
Stephen F. Austin had strong performances from freshman Jemma Cave and senior Elena Bleicher, who won their singles draws. Freshman Ksenia Mamontova was also able to take third in her singles draw.
Jemma Cave and freshman Carolina Chiatti were able to string together back-to-back wins, before falling three to six in their third match. Junior Zala Ule and Ksenia Mamontova won their first match, before falling six to seven in their second match.
The Ladyjacks will travel to Huntsville, Texas on October 28th where they will take part in the Bearkat Invitational.
