Ladyjacks Kickoff 2022-23 Season At Colonial Lanes Classic

HARAHAN, La. - No. 4 SFA kicks off their season at the Colonial Lanes Classic from Oct 14th-16th.
The tournament is hosted by No. 17 Tulane at Colonial Lanes. Action will start at 9:30 AM on Friday, 9:00 AM on Saturday and 8:00 AM on Sunday.
The Ladyjacks will be competing against 14 other schools. They include No. 5 Sam Houston State, No. 7 North Carolina A&T, No. 8 Louisiana Tech, No. 17 Tulane, RV University of Alabama Birmingham, Alabma A&M, RV Alabama State, Southern, Jackson State, UMES, Florida A&M, Texas Southern, Prairie View A&M, & Lincoln Memorial.
The first day of competition (Friday), will be five (5) five-game Baker matches with total pins being the goal. In the qualifying rounds, teams will alternate lanes after each Baker game until the match is complete.
The second day of the tournament (Saturday), is a format of five traditional team games.
On the third day (Sunday), teams will complete in three rounds of match play in a playoff bracket. Each of the rounds in match play will be a best-of-seven baker match.
