Steven Fabik Slated on Southland Conference Third Team List

FRISCO, Texas – The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks placed one student-athlete on the 2021 All-Southland Conference Men's Golf list, Steven Fabik, as he solidified a spot on the Third Team.
"Congratulations to Steven on being named to the all-conference team his senior year," said Head Coach Trey Schroeder. "Steven was a very consistent and reliable player for the Lumberjacks over his four-year career. It was a pleasure to coach him and I look forward to watching his success after college."
Fabik was indeed a consistent finisher for the Lumberjacks, where he competed in all eight tournaments for SFA this season with an average score of 74.61. He was the top finisher for the 'Jacks in every tournament, notching a top 25 finish in half of them this season.
At the Colin Montgomerie Invitational, Fabik tied for eighth place out of a field of 75 (74-74-72-220), in addition to a T-14th place finish out of 57 at the Golfweek Spring Invitational (72-70-72-214) and a T-15th place finish at the 2021 Gulf Coast Classic (74-76-150).
Fabik wrapped up his career with six top ten finishes and 12 top 20 finishes. His best performance was at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic in Spring 2019 (T-6th, 209) out of a 119-player field.
