MCKINNEY, Texas --
The Lumberjack men's golf team competed in the 2021 Southland Conference men's golf championship this week, finishing the season with a 7th place team finish with a score of 309-309-307-925 (+61) in McKinney. The Sam Houston Bearkats are this year's champions, followed by Lamar as the runner-up. For complete results, visit golfstat.com.
The leading finisher for the Lumberjacks was Justin Benson (77-82-71-230, +14), who tied for 21st place overall. Maxime Leclerc was close to Benson on the leader board, tying for 23rd place with a score of 77-77-77-231, +15. Steven Fabik was the third SFA finisher (T-30, 74-80-79-233, +17), along with Isiah Henderson (81-77-82-240, +24) tying for 43rd place.
