BEAUMONT, Texas --
Due to projected weather conditions, the opening round of the 2021 Southland Conference Men's and Women's Championships have been postponed.
The No. 8 seed Ladyjacks (10-9, 4-7) were originally supposed to compete today at 2:00 p.m. with No. 1 seed Sam Houston, but the match will be shifted to tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. instead.
SFA won the SLC championship back in 2012, as its only conference title in program history. The 'Jacks are making its first appearance since 2017, entering the postseason with a 5-17 SLC overall tournament record.
