Bowling Secures Berth at USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships, Faichnie Earns Berth in USBC Singles National Championship

DALLAS, Texas -- A banner weekend of competition at the 2021 USBC Dallas Sectional saw the SFA bowling team and one of its senior leaders clinch berths to compete in the USBC Intercollegiate Team and Singles National Championships, respectively, in May. The 'Jacks and Dakota Faichnie each garnered a second place finish to secure their spots at the chapionships, set to take place in Wyoming, Mihigan from May 5-8.
Faichnie, of Innisfil, Ontario, finished second in the individual grouping in Dallas with a total pinfall of 1225, finishing just behind Praire View A&M's Patricia Rosales in the top spot.
In the team qualifying portion of the UBC sectional, the Ladyjacks finished second in the team standings after 40 Baker matches, earning a spot to Wyoming by virtue of finishing within the top four in the team leaderboard.
