Ladyjack Bowling Finishes Sixth at Music City Classic over Weekend

SMRYNA, TN -- The SFA bowling team rolled to a sixth-place finish in a 19-team field at the 2021 Music City Classic over the weekend, finishing with 12,640 total pins, or a 194.5 average per game. SFA was seeded fifth entering the tournament bracket on the final day of competition, and end in sixth after a 1-2 record in the tournament matches.
The Ladyjacks opened up the bracket with a 4-0 victory over Central Missouri, then were edged out by Louisiana Tech 4-3 in the second round. SFA then faced Tulane for fifth place in the position round and fell by a 4-0 score, ending in sixth place overall.
Sarah Voiers was SFA's top individual finisher, placing 26th with a 197.4 average. Tommie White (28th-194.6) and Sarah Gill (32nd-193.2) also finished within the top 40 bowlers among the 124-man field.
