JONESBORO, AR -- The SFA bowling team finished off the Mid-Winter Classic over the weekend in third place after the bracket play round finished on Sunday, with senior Sarah Gill tying for fifth overall among individuals and earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team. SFA entered bracket play in second place in the qualifying standings, but was bested by host Arkansas State 4-3 in the opening round and settled for a Top-3 finish instead.
Gill finished tied for fifth with a 220.7 average over the weekend. Sarah Voiers placed 19th with a 210.2 average, followed by Annie Leihardt in 27th with a 204 to place within the Top 30 individuals among the 66-player field.
