Lumberjack Golf Completes La Tour Intercollegiate Sunday Afternoon

The Lumberjack men's golf team completed competition at the La Tour Intercollegiate on Sunday due to weather, where the event was initially supposed to be over the span of three days. The 'Jacks finished with a team score of 601 (+25) to finish 10th, moving up one spot from the day before. Two Lumberjacks placed in the Top 25, and another placed in the Top 40.
Justin Benson and Maxime Leclerc tied for 21st on the leader board, each with a 78-71-149 (+5). Jacob Garcia notched a 77-74-151 (+7) tying for 38th place, along with Jake Smelser tying for 48th (78-75-153, +9) and Isiah Henderson rounding out the 'Jacks to finish 60th overall (78-81-158, +14).
SFA will compete in its next tournament on Monday, March 1st-2nd at the Gulf Coast Collegiate in Diamondhead, Mississppi.
