RUSTON, La. -- The Ladyjack bowling team competed well at the Bulldog Classic over the weekend, ultimately taking third out of the seven-team field on Saturday after the remainder of the tournament was canceled due to impending bad weather in the region. SFA finished with a total pinfall of 6.743 pins, ranking third out of seven teams in the tournament, including rival Sam Houston, which finished sixth.
Sarah Gill was named to the All-Tournament Team after finishing fifth on the individual leaderboard with an average of 211. Carlene Beyer finished in eighth with a 205 average, while Meagan and Crystal George finished 21st and 22nd with an average of 193 and 191, respectively. Sarah Voiers finished 27th with a 189 average, while Tommie White had a 176 average.
