SFA Football Secures Home Tilt for Fall Non-Conference Slate

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- The SFA Football team has inked its first home tilt of the fall non-conference slate, agreeing to host West Texas A&M inside Homer Bryce Stadium on October 3. The matchup will be the sixth all-time between the teams, with the 'Jacks holding a 3-2 lead in the series. The Lumberjacks have won the past three meetings against the Buffaloes, with the most recent victory coming during the 1997 season, a 35-17 decision for the 'Jacks.
Kickoff for the game is set for 4:00 p.m, while a decision on whether it will air on ESPN+ or ESPN3 will come at a later date.
With the addition of the home tilt, SFA's fall schedule currently stands at five games, with the potential for more to come. Additional game releases will be announced on sfajacks.com and the SFA Athletics social media platforms.
Per prior communications regarding ticket sales, the only way to guarantee admission to home athletic events this fall is to purchase season tickets on sfatickets.com.
