Lumberjacks Ink Road Games at UTEP and EKU to Add to Fall Schedule

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- The SFA Football team added two more opponents to its fall schedule on Friday, announcing the addition of a road game at Eastern Kentucky on November 7 and a season-opener against UTEP on September 5, also on the road. Both matchups represent the first meeting between the Lumberjacks and their two opponents.
Opening their fall schedule, the Lumberjacks will meet the Miners inside the Sun Bowl, UTEP's 51,500 seat stadium, at a time yet to be determined. Additional information on tickets and network coverage will be posted on sfajacks.com and the SFA Athletics social media channels when it comes available.
With the addition of the Eastern Kentucky matchup, the SFA Football team intends to be competing into the month of November. That matchup will occur in Richmond, Kentucky at EKU's Roy Kidd Stadium, a 20,000 seat stadium.
With a total of four games on the fall schedule so far, all on the road, the Lumberjacks are in ongoing talks to secure home games for the fall non-conference schedule. Additional games will continue to be announced on sfajacks.com as they come available.
