WHITEWATER, WI. --- The National Tenpin Coaches Association has recognized NCAA bowling teams that excelled academically during the 2019-20 year. Included among those teams is the SFA Bowling team, which also placed five individuals on the NTCA All-Academic Team. To earn recognition, programs must have a cumulative team GPA of a 3.2 or higher for the academic school year. For the 2019-2020 academic school year, 57 bowling programs achieved a cumulative team GPA of 3.2 or higher.

SFA compiled a team GPA of 3.415 for the 2019-20 academic year to qualify for the award. Additionally, five individuals from the SFA roster qualified for the NTCA All-Academic Teams: Megan Eaglehouse, Sarah Gill, Samantha Munsch, Dakota Faichnie and Sarah Voiers. To qualify for the Individual All-Academic Teams, bowlers must own a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher.
