Seven Ladyjack Bowlers Earn Southland Bowling League All-Academic Honors

FRISCO, Texas -- A total of seven Ladyjack bowlers earned a spot on the Southland Bowling League All-Academic Teams, per a release from the league office on Wednesday. Carlene Beyer, Dakota Faichnie, Sarah Voiers, Annie Leihardt, Sarah Gill, Samantha Munsch and Tommie White all earned the academic accolades. SFA's seven total recipients ranked second behind Valparaiso and Youngstown State (nine apiece) for the most in the league.

Sarah Voiers, Dakota Faichnie and Sarah Gill are repeat honorees, having earned a spot on the 2018-19 All-Academic Team as well.

The SBL Academic Honor Roll was put into place during the 2018-19 school year and is currently in its second season of recognition. All nominees for the Southland Bowling League's Academic Honor Roll team must have earned at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale and demonstrated athletics achievement for at least one year at the nominating institution.
