FRISCO, Texas -- The Southland Conference released its All-Academic Teams for the sport of women's golf on Wednesday, and Ladyjack senior Alexandra Batista was among the 10 athletes recognized by the league office. Batista brought home Second Team honors to mark her second appearance on the league's All-Academic Teams. The Trophy Club, Texas native earned a spot on the academic teams thanks to a 3.80 GPA in the field of multidisciplinary studies.
Batista was the Ladyjack's top golfer through much of the 2019-20 season, as she accrued a 77.0 average through the seven tournaments played in the shortened 2019-20 season.
