Nacogdoches, Texas --The SFA 'Jacks fought back from down 2-1 in the seventh inning to take down the Lamar Cardinals 3-2 Saturday.

Junior Joe Todd (2-1) got the win for SFA (5-10, ). The right-hander went eight innings, giving up two runs, one earned, on five hits, allowing two walks and striking out four. Sophomore Jaxon Covington also pitched well, going one shutout inning without allowing a hit.

Offensively, the 'Jacks were led by junior Kyle Cullen, who went 2-for-3 on the day with a walk and an RBI. Freshman Gabe Irwin compiled a noteworthy performance at the dish as well, going 2-for-5.
