CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -- The SFA women's golf team finished tenth overall at the Islander Classic in Corpus Christi on Tuesday, carding a 951 (+87) team score. SFA saved their best round of the tournament for last, shooting a 314 as a team on Tuesday's final round.
Senior Alexandria Batista led the way for the 'Jacks, shooting 76-79-75-230 overall to finsih tied for 21st. Paola Cortes-Ortiz finished tied for 40th with an 81-75-82-238, followed by Sloane Bennett in 48th with an 81-81-80-242. Zayla Cedillo carded an 82-83-80-245, and Kate Dishman rounded out the scoring at 85-82-79-246 overall.
