Men's Golf in Seventh Place Entering Final Round of LaTour Invitational

Day one results
MATTHEW, La. -- The SFA men's golf team is in seventh place with a 565 (-11) team score after the opening two rounds of play at the LaTour Invitational on Monday. SFA carded a 284 in the opening round and followed that up with a 281 in the second round to settle into the middle of the twelve-team field at the event. Play on the event's final round begins at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday.
Alec Brown leads the 'Jacks with a 73-68-141 (-3) through two rounds and is tied for 20th overall among individuals. Steven Fabik is tied for 27th with a 71-71-142 (-2), followed by Isiah Henderson in 33rd with a 72-71-143 (-1).
Johannes Gudmunsson is tied for 46th after shooting a 68-78-146 (+2) two-round score, while Maxime LeClerc rounds out the 'Jacks lineup sitting in 50th with a score of 76-71-147 (+3).
