
Bleicher Added to Ladyjacks' Squad for 2019-20

Gries, France, native is first freshman in SFA's 2019-20 recruiting class
NACOGDOCHES, Texas - In an announcement made Monday by head coach Erin Scott, the SFA tennis team has added freshman Elena Bleicher to its roster for the 2019-20 campaign and beyond.
The first freshman on the Ladyjacks' roster for the upcoming season, Bleicher joins transfers Ai Noa Fabre and Annie Walker as a member of SFA's 2019-20 signing class.

For four seasons under the direction of head coach Emanuel Roy, Bleicher was a strong competitor at Lycée Robert Schuman. Through her prep career, she helped her squad claim three regional championship crowns as also helped it compete in the national team championship as a sophomore.
A constant winner of numerous local and regional tournaments throughout her pre-collegiate career, Bleicher claimed a pair of departmental individual age specific titles and took home a regional senior doubles title during her sophomore year.
In addition to her playing prowess, Bleicher holds the distinction of serving as a ball kid at the French Open four times, at the Masters 1000 four times, at the Australian Open once and at several other international tournaments. In 2018, she transitioned to the role of ball kid coach in Roland Garros and other international tournaments.
