
Track and Field Wraps Competes at Alumni Muster Meet in College Station

Alumni Muster Results
COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The SFA Track and Field team competed in its final tune-up meet of the outdoor season ahead of next month's conference meet on Saturday at the Alumni Muster meet in College Station, Texas. While some athletes did not compete for SFA over the weekend, those who did attributed themselves well amongst the field of competing programs.
SFA EVENT WINNERS
• Madison Pecot took first in the women's pole vault with a clearance of 4.33m (14-2.5), a new personal best.
• Kevin Steward won the men's shot put with a mark of 16.26m (53-04.25).
SFA TOP FIVE FINISHES
• Maggie Okul took fourth in the women's hammer throw with a distance of 52.92m (173-7).
• Competing unattached, Trenton Bridges finished second in the men's hammer throw with a mark of 61.16 (200-8), a new personal best.
• Aolani Harris's mark of 5.92m (19-5.25) was good for third in the women's long jump.
• Nastassja Campbell finished second in the women's pole vault with a height of 4.23m (13-10.5). Kaylee Bizzell took fourth in the event with a clearance of 4.03m (13-2.5).
• Tyler Stafford took fourth in the men's pole vault with a PR of 5.11m (16-09.25), while Chad Horstmann tied for fifth with a clearance of 4.96m (16-03.25).
• Trenton Bridges also finished second in the men's discus throw with a distance of 53.45m (175-4), while Kevin Steward finished fourth with a mark of 52.59m (172-6),
• Raylie Huff took fourth in the women's triple jump with a mark of 12.13m (39-9.75).
• Jordan Washington's time of 14.47 in the 110m hurdles was good for a third-place finish.
• The SFA women's 4x400 relay team of Imani Nave, Aaliyah Teel, Dominique Jackson and Cayla Burch took second with a time of 3:42.20.
• Mahlon Dawson took third in the women's high jump with a mark of 1.67m (5-05.75), while teammate Kariyah Lanehart took fourth with a mark of 1.62m (5-03.75).
NEW PERSONAL BESTS
• Branson Ellis cleared 5.61m (18-4.75) in the men's pole vault, taking second in the event.
• The men's mile relay team of Drake Murphy, Antonio Ruiz, Isaiah Pittman and AJ Bennett took fourth with a mark of 3:08.62, bettering their previous best mark of 3:09.98 in the event.
