Fabik Rises Three Spots to Finish Among Top 10 at Bentwater Intercollegiate

MONTGOMERY, Texas - Junior Steven Fabik grabbed his second top-10 finish in three tournaments so far this season, shooting 2-over 218 after three rounds in the Bentwater Intercollegiate.
Sophomore Isiah Henderson (8-over 224) turned his tournament around shooting 2-under 70 in round three to rise 19 spots in the standings to crack the top-20 for the first time this season.
The Lumberjacks (27-over 891) stayed put in sixth place through three rounds, as fellow Southland members Sam Houston State (10-over 874) and Abilene Christian (12-over 876) finished first and second respectively.
Junior Justin Benson (9-over 225) collects his highest finish of the season tied for 27th as well as sophomore Alec Brown (12-over 228) who finished tied for 31st.
Junior Austin McKinney (18-over 234) rises four spots to tied for 48th as sophomore Johannes Gudmundsson (23-over 239) falls just behind him in 54th.
The Lumberjacks will be competing again on October 14th in the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
