SFA Goes 5-0 in Traditional Team Matches on Day Two of Allstate Sugar Bowl Invite

Munsch rolle three games of 200 or more
HANRAHAN, La. - Traditional team matches were on the docket for the third-ranked SFA bowling team during day two of the Allstate Sugar Bowl Collegiate Invite and the Ladyjacks racked up a pinfall total of 4,557 to go 5-0 on the day.
Following two days of action, the Ladyjacks total pinfall stands at 9,333 - good for an average of 186.7 per match. SFA slipped three spots to eighth place and will look to rebound heading into the third and final day of the tournament Sunday.
SFA got its day started with a 891-836 victory over Alabama State. In that tilt, Samantha Munsch (192) and Lauren Tomaszewski (193) narrowly missed out on hitting the 200-pin total but both got there in the Ladyjacks' second match of the day.
Pitted against host Tulane, both Tomaszewski (211) and Munsch (202) eclipsed the 200-pin tally to help the Ladyjacks claim a 937-878 win over the Green Wave. Match three saw Munsch roll a 242 - the best game of the day by any Ladyjack bowler - to help SFA edge Louisiana Tech 941-925.
Again Munsch went over 200 as the Ladyjacks continued to roll through the competition in match four. Her 211 against Texas Southern proved to be important as the Ladyjacks would need every pin they could get to eke out a 905-902 triumph.
SFA capped its perfect 5-0 run through traditional team play with an 883-875 victory over Valparaiso. Megan Eaglehouse posted a score of 193 in that tilt while Tommie White made her first appearance in team play by rolling a 167. Sarah Gill, who came in to roll a 189 in SFA's win over Texas Southern, finished with 166 against Valparaiso.
Tomaszewski was one of two Ladyjacks who finished among the top 30 during day two. Her pinfall tally of 919 was good for 30th place while Munsch was a top-ten finisher thanks to her pinfall total of 1,020. That was good enough for seventh place.
