Registration Open For Football Summer Camps

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- Registration is open for the 2015 Clint Conque Football Camps, being held at various locations across Texas this summer. Camps will be open to various age groups, working with coach Conque and his staff.
"We're excited to begin our summer camp schedule and be able to get out to a number of different communities throughout the state of Texas," Conque said. "Our goal is to establish SFA as East Texas' football team and these camps are great opportunities for us to extend the brand of Lumberjack football throughout the state."
Conque will hold six high school camps, geared towards players entering the 9th through 12th grades. In addition to members of the SFA coaching staff, representatives of a number of different collegiate programs will be assisting, including Colorado, Colorado State, Iowa State, Kansas and Louisiana Tech.
- Saturday, June 6: Houston, Texas (Klein High School) • 1-4 p.m.
• Sunday, June 7: Houston, Texas (Pearland High School) • 1-4 p.m.
• Friday, June 12: Texarkana, Texas (Texas High School) • 1-4 p.m.
• Saturday, June 13: Dallas, Texas (DeSoto High School) • 1-4 p.m.
• Sunday, June 14: Nacogdoches, Texas (Homer Bryce Stadium) • 1-4 p.m.
• Sunday, July 19: Nacogdoches, Texas (Homer Bryce Stadium) • 1-4 p.m.
The cost of each camp is $50 to register early online or $60 for on-site registration. The camps will focus on agility and athletic development, position-specific fundamental instruction and offensive and defensive technique development.
Campers should wear a t-shirt, athletic shorts and athletic socks. Cleats are required. covered by an EXCESS group accident insurance policy provided by the camp at no additional cost and will be used only after their own insurance is used. Any additional medical expenses will be the responsibility of the camper. Expenses related to injury or illness of any kind will be the responsibility of the camper. Professional athletic trainers are on duty at all times.
In addition, Conque and his staff will be hosting a youth camp June 15-17 at Homer Bryce Stadium. The camp is designed for players entering the 3rd through 8th grades and will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. each day. The cost of the youth camp is $60 to register online or $70 for on-site registration.
