Ladyjacks Announce Addition of Megan Eaglehouse

NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Stephen F. Austin head bowling coach Amber Lemke today announced the addition of Megan Eaglehouse to the Ladyjack roster. Eaglehouse has signed a National Letter of Intent and will begin competing for SFA in the fall of 2016.
“We’re very excited to have Megan join the Ladyjack bowling program,” Lemke said. “She has a lot of tournament experience and has been competing at the highest level for quite some time. Megan has a very bright future and has the potential to make a lasting mark on the SFA bowling program.”
Eaglehouse brings a wealth of tournament experience to SFA, including capturing the 2015 Texas High School Girls Single championship with a 223 average in bracket play. She also won the Texas State Youth Pepsi Girls Singles title with a 231 average, going down as the fourth-highest score among both the boys and girls competition.
Eaglehouse won a pair of Texas Grand Prix Regional titles, advancing to the state meet, while also winning the 2015 Texas State Youth Masters State championship, boasting a 210.2 average. She also notched tournament titles at the Texas State USBC Youth and San Antonio City Youth events while placing second at the Texas Youth Leaders USBC tournament and third at the 2015 Teen Masters National Championship.
A native of Cibolo, Texas, Eaglehouse participated in the 2015 USBC Team USA Trials, averaging a 186 through the week-long competition and placing in the top-50 on two separate days. She recently won the Frisco Teen Masters Open and holds a career-high game of 287 with a high series of 747.
SFA is off to another strong start in 2015-16, notching a pair of top-10 tournament titles. The 2015 NCAA national runner-up, the Ladyjacks resume their 2015-16 season in Houston December 4-6, competing in the Sam Houston State Track Kat Klash.
