Ladyjack Tennis Heads To Northwestern State

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin women's tennis team will continue their fall season on Friday, traveling to Natchitoches, Louisiana, for the Lady Demon Invite at host Northwestern State.
SFA is one of eight schools making the trip to the Jack Fisher Tennis Complex, as Grambling, Louisiana-Lafayette, Southern Miss and conference foes Lamar, Nicholls, Sam Houston State and Southeastern Louisiana, will also take part in the two-day tournament. Play will begin at 8:30 a.m. both days.
The Ladyjacks recently competed in the Solinco Houston Open at host University of Houston last weekend. SFA went a combined 7-8 record over the three-day tournament, finishing 2-4 in doubles and 5-4 in singles draws.
The Ladyjacks will play two more tournaments across the fall, before opening their competition season in January. SFA is slated to host the Schlief Tennis Invite (Oct. 11-12), before closing out with the Jason's Deli Collegiate Invite in Houston (Oct. 31-Nov. 2).
