Bowling Receives Academic Recognition

NASHVILLE, TN- The National Tenpin Coaches Association recently honored the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks by recognizing them for a grade point average award for the 2012-13 academic year.
The Ladyjacks placed seventh overall with a cumulative team GPA of 3.49 and was one of just 23 institutions to accomplish a GPA of 3.2 or higher. Last season the Ladyjacks were named to the NTCA honorable mention list with a 3.24 GPA.
SFA just missed out on qualifying for the NCAA Tournament last season but will be primed for another run in 2013-14.
