Parkhurst Places Fourth at North Pointe Gold Championships

Nicole Parkhurst finished fourth overall at the North Pointe Gold Junior Championships Friday afternoon in Michigan. She recorded scores of 228-173-199 early in the day to climb seven places on the final day of the tournament. Her score also places in strong position to earn a spot on the U.S. junior national team.
Parkhurst wasn't the only highlight for the Ladyjacks. Both Melanie Crawford and Paige Kraushaar finished strong as well. Crawford closed the tournament 34th overall, while Kraushaar was only two places back at 36th overall.
