SFA Women Finish Seventh at Southland Championships

The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack golf team struggled on the final day of the Southland Conference Champions recording a 318 Wednesday afternoon at the Frisco Lakes Golf Club in Frisco, Texas. SFA placed seventh with a three-round 309-314-318 - 941.
Junior Aliece Anderson was unable to keep up her pace from the two earlier rounds earlier rounds closing out the final day with a 10-over 82. She finished 23rd overall with a 234. Senior Chelsea Simmons was just two strokes back with an 80-78-78 - 236 to finish tied for 25th overall, along with freshman Mackenzie Steiner (78-79-79 -236).
Senior Allison Flake finished out her career with an eight-over 80 to finish the championships with a 238. Flake finished tied for 29th on the leaderboard. Freshman Sydney Reed was 35th with an 81-79-81 - 241.
