Ladyjacks Remain in Seventh at SLC Championships

The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack women's golf team enters Wednesday's final round of action in seventh place after carding a 314 Tuesday morning on the 5,977-yard, par 72 Frisco Lakes Golf Club course. Junior Aliece Anderson continues to sit atop the Ladyjack leaderboard with a 74-79 - 152. She is currently tied for 17th overall.
Freshman Mackenzie Steiner holds the team's second-lowest score after firing a 78-79 - 157. She is 26th overall. Senior Chelsea Simmons is a stroke back of Steiner with a 158 (tied for 27th). Senior Allison Flake is tied with Simmons after shooting an 81 in the second round. Freshman Sydney Reed closed out the SFA scoring with her 81-79 - 160. Reed is tied for 33rd heading into the final round of 18 holes.
The Ladyjacks close out the Southland Conference Championships Wednesday morning. SFA is slated to tee off at 8 a.m. and will be paired with McNeese State.
