Bowling Sits In Fifth At Music City

SMYRNA, TN - The No. 13/9 Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks bowling team got off to a good start at the Columbia 300 Music City Classic, finishing Friday with a 4-2 overall record and a fifth place total pinfall of 4658. The Ladyjacks trail only Vanderbilt (4999), Maryland Eastern Shore (4888), Arkansas (4727) and Nebraska (4719).
In quad Baker play the Ladyjacks defeated No. 18 Delaware State (871-759), Hampton (734-633), North Carolina A&T (852-744) and No. 8 Fairleigh Dickinson (693-691). SFA's two losses came to No. 3 Maryland Eastern Shore (810-742) and Florida A&M (794-766).
