VALSPARAISO, In. – The No. 9 Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks sit in 6th place following a 4-2 record in Baker play Friday at the Valparaiso Crusader Classic.
SFA (23-7) opened the day defeating No. 1 Nebraska 725-719 in match one of Baker play. The Ladyjacks edged No. 19 Prairie View A&M 797-793 to take match two. SFA would drop the next two matches to No. 4 Arkansas State (853-725) and No. 3 Central Missouri (872-746).
The Ladyjacks rallied in their final two matches of the day, notching wins over UAB (775-687) and No. 6 Sam Houston (801-761).
SFA returns to action Saturday when they begin five-person team matches at 8:30 a.m.
